Today was Simon's first day at Camp Thurman. He LOVED it! He got in the car and wouldn't start talking. The first thing he said, though, was "It's really DIRTY there!" The counselor laughed and said "Welcome to camp!" It poured rain this morning for a long time - YEAH! - and I'm sure that didn't help the mud situation. That and Simon apparently LOVED the sand box - which, with rain, was probably more of a mud box that he played in for quite a while today. Despite his talk this morning, he did do the climbing net today as well - and liked that, too. They were able to go swimming this aftenroon since the rain subsided. I am so thankful it's a little cooler this week for him. Sutton was very sad that he did not get to go with Simon to Camp Thurman. He's a lucky boy - he gets to be at Camp Mommy this week! We're going to make some yummy cookies now and make some dinner, then enjoy it all outside because it's 85 at 5:00 in the afternoon in Arlington, Texas! Good day!
